Providing nursing care to patients experiencing life-threatening conditions presents unique challenges. This course will explore creating and engaging in a supportive environment, how to communicate, how to ensure standards of care and protocols are followed, engaging patients in their care, ways to learn from mistakes, and methods to decrease second victim syndrome occurrence.
Successful completion of this course will provide the learner with one (1) contact hour.
